A hole

We have a big hole in our living room. Don't worry its been there a long time, just covered up. We had a leak from the swamp cooler and the swamp cooler is gone, so all of this needs to go. This is this weeks project. Fun and jealousy to be had.

The other day I was watching Braxton for Jocelyn who works for me. He was so much fun. Dexter and him had fun. Cute kid!

The Christmas lights are up, here is the hard workers at work. Carl has been so great at picking up out walnuts this year. Hoot for us and Katoosh for Carl.

10 1/2 years later............................

So my parents house has been finished (if you call it finished) for 10 1/2 years now. Me and mom are finally painting and starting to attempt to finish the basement. We went with shark loop blue. My dad is a Big BYU fan so we are tapping into that bloodline-well thats our excuse and we have to find a color that will go with all of his brown oak trim. Basically we just want some color other than oak and cream. It'll look good, I promise you Dad, you will love it!

Another project down........

We have this ugly built in bookshelf. I just repainted and kicked some shelves out. Here is the before and after. My dad would think I am crazy for painting over wood, and his friend Jim thinks I am crazy for my choice of color. Its happy, crazy. Who needs beige.

Happy Birthday Curtis

Happy Birthday Curtis!! Big 29! We went out to dinner at Shoots for Curtis' birthday. He got to go golfing witht the boys. I told him he could go golfing if I got a picture, because that is what guys love to do. Stop and take a picture. Happy Birthday Curty-your the best husband and dad.

We went to temple square as part of our day. We are playing and having a 3 day weekend.

Living Planet

We went to the living planet aquarium. It is Curtis' birthday-so festivities begin.

At the aquarium they had a sting ray petting thing. Kind of scary and slimy, but cool.

Fair-Weather Fan

It's football Sunday and we tried getting Dexter psyched about it. He found more joy in a whisker and a magnet. But he looks mighty cute in his Colts jersey. Although sometimes when there is football on Dexter gets interested and does an Ooooohh! and a clap. So thanks for Mike and Kim for his Sunday outfit and its not his Sunday best.

Our first Trick or Treater

We have never gotten a trick or treater ever at our house. I turn the lights on and no-one comes. Such a long trek. We had one brave it this year. Josiah stopped by in full uniform. Ain't he sexy.
