Oops

We are still trying to get the stackable washer and dryer put in.............long process.............Curtis was cutting a hole for the dryer vent and we found this lovely friend in our bathroom. You can put crown molding up in bathrooms, right?

Buds

Jarom and Dexter are such good friends. They love hanging out on Sundays.

I think I'm old

I work with my 25 year old brother Kimball, granted he could easily pass for younger 21-22. Kevin my 18 year old busser, bless his heart thought I was Kimball's aunt. I am 29. Thanks Kevin, I told him he had to do extra sidework tonight.

Blocks and Pops

Dexter was playing with some old brick in the backyard, stacking and unstacking. So I figured I should get him some blocks that were a bit more kid friendly.

Dexter loves otter pops. He runs to the freezer and says "Pop" They are great because now I can get him to do something-anything before his pop.

Vegas, wedding, hot, hot, hot, blasted hot, uncomfortably hot, 32 hours of heat

Hello?

Dexter with his Indian cousins.

Brady and Jen-bad picture and the only one I took

Josiah, Curti, Craigy and Jesse

Brady and Dexter, I still don' know how Dexter feels about Brady yet.

It was hot, a sweaty boy.

A outdoor fountain that Dexter was glued to.

Sweaty family, we glistened in the outdoor hot reception heat.

Just a bunch of Indians, it was amazing they all came up for the wedding.

Jarom in his magic short suite. A kid saw Jarom's suit and was mad because he thought he had the best suit going in, he took one look at Jarom and said he wins.

Cute

Even cuter!

Tired, tuckered, lets go home!

The dreaded week

We are at mid-week of the dreaded week. So far we-I have survived. I just got back from Colorado from a GM meeting. I enjoyed the first 4 hours of the meeting and the rest could have done without. But I got to go to dinner and bowling with a bunch of GM's. By their 3rd pitcher of beer their bowling abilities were actually getting alot better. But I went and did and came home. The highlight of my trip was walking to Target to get some Ben and Jerry's. It did wonders. It really wasn't that bad, but I am just glad to be home. Now I get to go to work for a day and off to Vegas for another dreaded trip but for good reasons; for Brady's wedding. Good but just happened to fall in my dreaded week category. I will love next week.

Still the sweetest boy!

Pale Boy

4th

We tried to celebrate the 4th, almost gave up but succeeded. (my family is very in-decisive) We went to dinner at Goodwood, tried fireworks-driving to the stadium but a carload whimped out so we all whimped out, so we climbed on top of our roof and watched them there. We are right in line with them-so it was good watching.

Obsess Much Dex

Cars, cars, cars. Dexter has the biggest fascination now with Cars, the movie, cars, so we bought him a car. Here he is sitting in it before its completed and now he watches Cars in his car. We realize the obsession today might be a bit much and went and bought Thomas the Train to mix it up, he was already tootin away. Fun boy!

Happy 40th

Happy 40th-Seems like just yesterday you got us all married off, had grandbabies, watched us all get into houses of our own and finally grow up.
Thanks for always being there for all us!!!

What a past few weeks

A whirlwind of life, when it rains it pours...........It has been a month since this whole CPK thing got thrown upon me. Stuff keeps coming and I will be very excited when July is over, sad to say it is only the 4th and there is still a whole month left to go. I am happy to report the store is still standing so we can't be doing to bad over here. We have had some mishaps that I never knew could be so stressfull, a broken fridge and walkin, a growling ice machine and a missing strain has caused so many iced tea and coffee spills. You know that saying that "there is no reason to cry over spilled milk". I once had a lady say yes you cry, because it dries up, gets sticky and starts to smell so you cry over your spilled milk. Plus its the best reaction to a build up of life goo. I am now in the primary presidency 1st counselor-why not throw that in the mix. Sharing time no problem. Business trip to Colorado, conference call and wedding in Vegas; sure why not!
