Daddy's little girl. Still in shock we got a girl. We bought this silly monkey after Lucy death gribbed at the store. Next time we make random purchase, check the price.

She better love that monkey to death.

Wejo Easter egg hunt

We went out to WEJO for Carl's birthday. Carrie put on a easter egg hunt for the kiddos.

Easter Eggs

Coloring Easter Eggs. We did not boil our eggs. Just colored them, which has been funner for Dexter now when we make breakfast, we gets to pick the color. Although Lucy somehow managed to get an egg shell out of the garbage and stain her hands blue. That child can get in to anything. Last year Dexter hated the smell of the boiled eggs, he kept gagging. We saved the holiday.

Thanks again Craig for the harmonica. Dexter singing his blues.

Craigy and Treasure Hunts

Dexter has too much fun with his grandparents. Craigy just showed up last Saturday and took Dexter for a few hours. They went geo-caching. But Craigy told Dexter they were going on a treasure hunt. This is their 2nd time going and Dexter is ecstatic that we gets to go on a walk to find buried treasure and he actually gets a treasure from it. This time he got a harmonica that Craig snuck in which has been quite loud on our parts. After the hunt Craigy and Dexter went to Wendy's for lunch. Lorraine is always telling Craigy the crazy things Dexter says. Dexter did not disappoint with his sayings. He found a broken taillight piece on the ground. He showed his grandpa and told him, "Isn't this beautiful?" they were at Wendy's and Dexter got a brain freeze. He starts complaining and fighting his way through it. Craig starts laughing and Dexter says, "Grandpa this is not funny."

Creative Lorraine

Lorraine was quite busy with her day with Dexter. When you ask her what they did, she makes it so casual. Tha it all comes out later. Dexter and Grandma just were busy making a race car with all the bells and whistles. I have had this car for over a week and Dexter asked if we can keep it forever. Good luck to us trying to get this thing out to the trash.

Lucy with her first slice of pizza.

Dex' Party

Dexter made a tea party, but to make it masculine, we'll call it a party. He strategically placed all his animals around the table, made sure each animal had a picture, a prize and a treat. The treat was a fortune cookie. He even made a place for me and Curtis. One of my favorite Dexter moments.

Here Lucy is just starting to get use to grass. I love watching kids try and figure that out.

Lucy, a happy cheesy baby

Cousin's Sleepover

We had Parker and Carson over for a sleepover. I think it was a hit for these boys. Dexter and Parker were so funny together, just finally being able to bond and play with each other without distractions.

We made a huge pile of soft goodness for all 3 of them to sleep on.

Lucy is not shy and does not realize she is the only girl in her world.

Dexter and the painful waiting for his cousins to arrive.

Cute stinker kid.  Lucy is always so happy,
always smiling and kind of crazy.

I actually got her still enough to paint her toes.  Her first.  Than I had to quickly distract her.

Jumping Jacks

Just an evening with the kiddos at Jumping Jacks
