Finish Work

Can you believe we have run our of walls to knock out and we have patched most everything? (On the top floor) Now we are finally starting to consider the finish work part of things. We have got baseboards that will be going up. (I am sure this will sit awhile, but this is next on the list)

I just don't ever want to have to start using the basement, because that is a whole other world to touch. Some walls will be teared out. and it will all begin again. But I don't think Andrew and Brian are going anywhere anytime soon.

Than, Before and Now

Curtis just finished mudding, taping and painting the doorway to downstairs. Here has been the long long process. This use to hold a winding staircase. We are still getting there.

Teething and grumpy

Dexter is teething those darn molars. They hurt; which makes for a sad, needy and cuddly guy. We got to watch Braxton again-he is fun.

Christmas

Christmas came and it went. We are tired and had a blast. We had the Lybberts, Josiah, Clarks and Baadsgaards. We got to talk to Brady and David, they are doing good. Now we get to put our house back together.

We're back in business.................

Oh it has been a long time. But we are back up and running. Lately our house has been in pieces (again), and we are putting it back together (again). Here is our Christmas tree (I swear we are the last people our there that get a real tree) and Christmas lights, which we got up early. We are blessed with Curtis' ability to hang lights due to his old job. We are the only ones on our whole street that are festive. (there are only 2 houses on our street, but even our neighborhood is sparse) Dexter is doing so good with the tree. He hasn't taken many ornaments off. He will bring me a random present and hold it up. We have a little on/off push button and that takes up most of his time. Oooooooooooh!

Our computer is broken and has been sitting at comp usa for 2 weeks. Yesterday it finally made it to the working table. So get ready they might actually attempt to look at it. Curtis just finished finals and did pretty good, he thinks. It will be nice to get a husband back for a couple weeks. He celebrated by staying up with the boys downstairs playing Xbox until 3 am. I slept. I have been working and going slightly crazy-just lots of work. Dexter is saying cheese, does raise the roof and has a new fake giggle. He has visited Santa twice and loves that man. That is a quick update before the hate comments start coming

New Floors

So the hole is still in the ceiling.......But we (Craig) finished our floors in our master bedroom. This is our long process. We have been living in the dining room and living room lately. This is one of the final projects we have. Now its just the little things like holes in the ceiling, baseboards and touch ups. The pictures are dusty because it was dusty. We are putting everything back together again.
