One year and Two years

Happy Birthday Lucy and Phoebe

I can't believe it has been one year since we got that change your life instant phone call.  I can't believe we survived this year and how fast it has gone.  I am so thankful for how it came and went.  I never thought I would have any girls and now we are in the full mix of these two.  

This child weirdly always has just one shoe.  I don't know if one foot is bigger than the other. 

Lucy is a funny crazy person.  Jobu' explained it best when he said she is just a bag of tricks.

Phoebe had some amazing nap hair.  She had amazing huge tears.  Jarom saved her from her nap.  These two are really starting to be attached.  Jarom as tough as he portrays, is a huge softy.  Sometimes I really don't know how I can do this without him.  He seems to show up right when an extra hand is needed and just holding a child for 2 minutes saves the day.

After Lucy's Birthday dinner we went home for cupcakes and presents with Pat and Carl.  They were going to miss the girls birthday, so we had a mini quick party.  It was a fun little moment with the girls.  The next morning when Lucy woke up she pointed to the outfit Pat had got and said ma-ma.

Lucy turned 2.  We took her to dinner just us and her.  It was so fun to get this little gal alone.  She has been a champ since we got Phoebe, it was great to give her some extra attention.  When you get her alone she is actually a bit quiet.  Who knew?  We took her to Red Robin, when I was pregnant with Lucy, we went to dinner at Red Robin and than one hour later my water broke and our little Lucy was born on Mother's day.  She is the funnest character, a crack up!

Sunday Best Again

Here are more Sunday pre-church pictures.  Seems we always take pictures before church.  But it is the only small moment during the whole week where they are clean, no spots, hair is done, shoes are where they should be.  It's a magical moment.  Than it is ruined, the hair clips come off, the shoes are yanked off and the goldfish gets smothered somewhere.

We had to let Lucy mature a bit more before we started her.  She is finally ready.

Dexter played soccer this year.  It was fun for all.  Sure loved lugging the kiddos to each game.

We got carpet put in our room.  The bedroom resided in the living room for a couple days.  The kids loved it.
