Maternity leave is over and it is time to head back to work. I can't believe how slow the last 3 weeks of pregnancy went and how the past 3 months just flew by. It was so nice being a stay homer, we had dinners outside, the freedom to go anywhere and be at everything without coordinating schedules. We had such a nice routine and now we get to re-figure it all out again.
Also so exciting Curtis graduates college August 12th, Huge Excitement!!!! That should bring some sanity to our schedules. I think we might get to feel a little married for once.
I have been prepping Dexter for when I would be going back to work hoping he will adjust well. I told him when Lucy gets older that I will be going back to work. Shortly after I reminded him I have to go back and I was sad about that. He told me remember Lucy is getting older now so its okay.
Last week I told Dexter I was going back to work and he was so excited because he knew grandma was coming.
Than the day before I had to go back he just melted my heart. I told him I was sad that I had to go back tomorrow. He said mom don't be sad and reached around me and gave me a huge hug. I was standing up so I got a there there tap on the bum.
Than he said mom the cpk guys have missed you and its ok because when you go back you won't be alone because the cpk guys will be there.
Such a smart caring kid. He sure takes good care of me.
Curtis' first night with the kids by himself, I came home to an exhausted husband who survived. But funny night for the 1st back. 1st off Curtis has lost his car keys about 2 months ago.........Last night Curtis lost his phone taking the kids to the park. Carl gets a phone call from a lady who found his phone. Than Carl calls me at work to call her. I call her and she is still at the park and will be there for only 10 more minutes. I'm busy at work and than have to figure out how to get a hold of Curtis. I try Jarom and than call Holly, Jen for Jesse's number. Multiple calls to Jesse, he is asleep downstairs. I get on the internet to get the neighbors phone number. In the meantime the lady who has his phone calls to say she is almost leaving. Hurry. I get a hold of Carol our neighbor to walk over and tell Curtis his phone is at the park. Carol offers to watch the kids while Curtis runs not drives because remember he has lost his key for 2 months now to the park. Yay after 30 minutes Curtis found his phone he didn't know was missing. Now if we could just figure out the whole car key thing.
