Crazy child

This trip I really got to see what Lucy has become. She deceived us, she was such a quite soft demeanor baby. At 1, she has blossomed into crazy. She will not stop.

Getting Ready

Here is the pre-packing for this trip. It was very weird packing up to bring home a baby. I even called the indian services before we left and made sure I had all the proper paperworks and what I needed to bring. They said to just bring a car seat.

Here is us travelling with an empty car seat. The day we left for our trip I had to work.

Curtis had the car all packed up, I looked back and there were 3 car seats there.

I cried the whole way to work.

Phoebe Patricia Clark

Here is Phoebe Patricia Clark, we just adopted her from the Navajo Reservation. She is gorgeous and she is ours. I know this child would have gotten to us someway, she is the same spirit that we would have gotten whether I had her. I knew she would come to us. I think God, me and her have felt it for many years.

I knew I always wanted to adopt a Navajo baby even in my teens. My parents talked about doing it and they never did, that stuck with me. I always knew I needed to do this. I felt it my whole life. My mother did good teaching us about our culture and what life is like on the reservation and what she went through, which has made me always have this feeling. After many long years, we finally got our baby girl. The second I got that phone call, I didn't have to question one thing, I knew it was her. The second I saw her, I knew that was my child.

We took 481 pictures and have so much to update. Before we left I wrote this on the Eve of leaving, which explains a little of it. So if you want that info connect here. Sorry if it is emotional and gooey. I have not stopped crying for a week now.

It has been an amazing week from the phone call Monday morning until getting home yesterday. It really was the most spiritual experience of my life. There is no such thing as a coicendance. Everything happens for a reason. We are so happy that this spirit found her way to our family.
