Today I pulled out Dexter's shoes and dirt fell everywhere. I was so amazed at how thrashed these shoes are. This were his first real get walking, dirty shoes. He has probably walked so many miles in these tiny ugly shoes, up and down the lane, around the yard, at grandma and grandpa's house, chasing the dogs and going up and down the stairs. Yet he still has enough energy to go again.

Hello Davey!!
Today we talked to David who is in Oaxocxa Mexico-7 months to go. I never email him much, but he does say he checks our blog. So here is a picture of Curtis and David cuddlying, gigglying on the love sac back in the day. They were probably laughing about the green monster.
WE MISS AND LOVE YOU DAVID!!!!

VACA
My orginal plan was to take vacation days and go camping. Curtis didn't get work off, but I kept my vacation days and worked in my yard for 3 days straight. Oh man, we got so much done and did projects I didn't even know we were doing.
First I pulled back grass in our front entrance and aligned them with dwarf box woods. Than put red flatstones down. This one still needs work as the grass needs to be pulled back.

Next I re-aligned the paver path and planted 3 rose of sharon trees.

Than Curtis finished the retaining wall along the fence and I planted a row of lavender.

Than we chopped down a pine tree and planted 2 flowering plum trees.

Next we are going to level out the ground on the side of the house, build a retaining wall, tiered retaining wall and paver path with a sand box in the middle of all this.

Just fun Pictures:

CHEESE!

On Monday mornings, the Winder farms delivery comes. I always try to get Dexter to help me bring in the
groceries. He wanted to help bring in the cheddar cheese, slight problem he would not give it back. I tried slicing him off a piece and that did not bode well. He wanted the whole block of cheese. So he took huge baby bites of cheddar cheese straight from the block. I tried getting it back, but you try taking away a block of cheese from a Toddler in the morning. Yes you would do the same thing I did! Have at it!!! Dexter won that battle!
