Outside

It is finally warm enough to go outside.

Ha-ha!

We just gutted/cleaned the house. This is what we found in all the nook and cranny's.

Into the kitchen we go..............

We are trying to work on our kitchen now. We got a new microwave, dishwasher, drapes and handles for the drawers. We are still getting there and will still never be done remodeling.

We got rid of all the nasty old curtains, that didn't work and were made of plastic. Another load to the dump. I really wonder how many times we have gone to the dump with this house of ours.

Dexter, Dogs and Valentines

Pat sent Dexter a Valentines card with dogs on it. It was a big hit! That card went everywhere with him and he just barked along.

Baseboards

Curtis and Bryan put in some baseboards down the hall and into the living room. We are finally getting into the finish work part of things.

Sticky

A lady gave Dexter a sucker while we were shopping around. I thought it would be harmless because I had baby wipes in the car. Well the baby wipes were left at home, come to find out. Dexter is happy with his sucker. But Dexter is getting stickier and stickier as we continue on. His fingers are starting to stick together and he is starting to cry. He just holds his hands out for me while I am driving. We are so close to home. Dexter rubs his eyes. They are sticky and closed shut. Now he really starts crying. He can't see and is trying to open his eyes. I start laughing because his eyes are stuck shut. So I kindly push on each cheek to relieve the sticky tension. We make it home, run into the house, baby wipe his eyes, face and hands, and we are back to having a happy boy. PHEW!!

Sledding

We attempted to take Dexter sledding. Curtis had more fun than he did.

Homecoming Day

Brady had his homecoming day. I did not take one picture of it. But here is Dexter in the snow for hours and walking everywhere.

Fun Randoms

Dexter is quite computer literate. He loves typing and using the mouse.

Lorraine always brings Dexter crisp bean burritos from taco time. That is one happy kid with burrito in hand.

Happy Birthday Pat! Cousins are fun! I am always a little weirded out how much Dexter looks like his cousins. I never looked like my cousins, they were either too light or too dark. So this is new for me.

Dexter loves to dance. It has to be hip-hop. I don't get it.
